Dogs for adoption
Zak (adopted)
Gender: male
Breed: brittany spaniel (épagneul breton)
Character: active - playful - curious
Weight: 16 kilos
Estimated date of birth: May 2019
Zak is a happy, friendly young boy, very lively and curious about everything the world has to offer! He is doing his very best to honor his brittany spaniel genes: he is full of energy, very active, tireless and he loooooves to follow his nose. Everything Zak smells, hears or sees is very interesting to him and has to be investigated!
A small heads-up from our side: this is NOT a dog for couch potatoes or inexperienced, first-time dog owners. Zak needs a LOT of exercise and stimulation, and a good portion of training so he learns to channel his energy and hunting instinct, and to keep his focus on his owner. We also feel that his future home should offer sufficient peace and quiet (so preferably no comings and goings of people, young children, noisy teenagers etc), so that Zak's overactive head can get some proper rest.
Zak gets along well with other dogs, he travels well in the car, and he’s always in a good mood, never scared of people or situations.
We think Zak would be a great companion for active, outdoorsy people who are keen to get to grips with this energetic goofball.
