Dogs for adoption
All our dogs for adoption are blood tested, wormed and have the kennel cough injection when they come into our care. They are eventually sterilized/castrated, vaccinated and micro chipped and obviously receive treatment if any disease has shown up in their blood test. As far as puppies are concerned, we will pay for blood test, worming, vaccinations, microchip and sterilization/castration.
People wanting to adopt a dog from APAC are asked to think about this commitment seriously. Many of our dogs have had a bad experience in the past and it needs patience to settle the dog in but we can guarantee that the dog will be so grateful to be in a caring home, the adoptees will receive a lot of love from their new companion.

Below you will find an overview of the dogs that are for adoption at BARC (Busot Animal Rescue Concern), an organisation in the neighbouring municipality of Busot that is committed to sheltering and rehoming stray dogs.
In these difficult times APAC and BARC team up to give the dogs as much chance as possible of finding a new home. All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped and sterilized, and waiting for their new family!

Thomas is a large sized dog with a big heart. He is quite introverted but has learnt to love playing with the ball. He is probably more suited as an outside dog so someone with large fenced land would be ideal. He does not get on well with other male dogs.
Thomas has been living at El Rey De La Casa since February 2019.

Winston is classed as a PPP dog and that means he is a potentially dangerous dog!
Well, he produces a lot of gas so that could kill you. Also at about 37 kg he could bend your legs backwards when he runs to greet you or maybe drown in his slobber
On his passport it says he is a pit bull but you can see his breed recognized by the kennel club (American bully )
He is so well behaved does what he’s told first time and just wants cuddles. Although he’s always welcome here it would be lovely to find him a forever home.
Under Spanish law certain breeds of dogs are considered “potentially dangerous dogs,” and require a PPP (“perros potencialmente peligrosos”) license. A PPP License is good for 5 years. If not licensed within a certain time frame, your dog could be impounded and a hefty fine applied before they would be allowed to go home with you.

Ringo is very affectionate with people and likes other dogs but he has jealousy issues, so it would be in his best interest to go to a house with no animals or children. He found his perfect adoption family but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances they had to return to the USA and it was not possible for him to go with them.
He is currently being spoilt in a BARC foster home.

Nico is a delightful young man who unfortunately has epilepsy. He has been in excellent foster care and been given daily medicines and seems to be fitting less - his fits are not scary and he just needs a cuddle to show someone is there for him. His medicines are not expensive either. How lovely would it be to restore his faith in human nature and find a permanent home who would welcome his cuddles and love.
He is currently being fostered in a house full of dogs and cats so is very domesticated.
